Overview: Wild Women of Anatolia is a documentary following the daily lives of five women across regions, generations and beliefs in Turkey. From a four-generation family harvesting nuts in the Black Sea region to Aslı who runs a historic coffee business in Istanbul, from Hira who gave birth in the Aegean Sea to Hatice, an Alevi/Kurdish woman in the high plains of Muş and Arya who fights for transgender rights in Ankara, we listen to five women’s stories of freedom, dreams and desire and witness their connections to their landscapes
